There are a number of requirements, but generally it must be filed for goods shipped from the U.S. to a foreign country. FedEx has a great breakdown here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedex.com\/en-us\/shipping\/electronic-export-information.html\">Electronic Export Information filing requirements.<\/a>&nbsp;According to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trade.gov\/electronic-export-information-eei\">the International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>The\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/trade\/basic-import-export\/export-docs\/electronic-export\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Electronic Export Information<\/a>\u202f(EEI) is required documentation when the value of the commodity classified under each individual Schedule B number is over $2,500 or if a validated export license is required to export the commodity.
