Use RDO in place of DAO where you wish to have more control over how the data is handled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"subheads\">Create a new blank project.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Add a new form using the VB Data Form Wizard. To create a new form select Project from the menu bar, then click Add Form. The Add Form dialog box will then appear.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2435\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/odbc_u01.gif\" alt=\"odbc_u01\" width=\"380\" height=\"308\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li value=\"2\">Select Remote(ODBC) as the Database type.\u00a0 Then click Next.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2436\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/odbc_u02.gif\" alt=\"odbc_u02\" width=\"380\" height=\"289\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li value=\"3\">Under Data Control Type choose &#8220;Remote Data Control&#8221;. Under ODBC Connect Data select the DSN you created using the HP3000 Data Access Driver. Add Available Fields to your form. For speedier browsing, choose a smaller value for RowsetSize.
