To create a PCL print file, follow the steps below using the suggested print driver.<\/p>\n<p>This template method is supported for existing, older eFORMz projects. Minisoft recommends using a Document Template instead of PRN files.<\/p>\n<h3>Windows 10 and later<\/h3>\n<p>Install the HP LaserJet 5200L Series PCL 5 print driver using the following method:<\/p>\n<p>1. Create a new printer using the <em>Add Printer<\/em> option from the <em>Control Panel &gt; Printers and Faxes<\/em> dialog box.<\/p>\n<p>2. From the <em>Add Printer Wizard<\/em> proceed with the setup.<\/p>\n<p>3. Select the <em>Local Printer Option<\/em> from the Print Wizard.<\/p>\n<p>4. Select <em>File:Print to File<\/em> as your Port. Click <em>Next<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>5. From the list of manufactures select <em>HP<\/em>. Select <em>LaserJet 5200L Series PCL 5<\/em> as the model type. Once completed, click <em>OK<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>6. Click <em>Next<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>7. Enter a Printer Name of <em>efzprinter<\/em> and click <em>Next<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>8. Select <em>No<\/em> if you do not wish this to become your default printer.<\/p>\n<p>9. Click <em>Finish<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Once your HP LaserJet 5200L Series PCL 5 print driver has been installed (efzprinter) click the <em>Properties<\/em> of this printer from the <em>Printers and Faxes<\/em> dialog box:<\/p>\n<p>1. From the <em>Printing Preferences<\/em> dialog box click the <em>Advanced<\/em> tab and select the following options:<\/p>\n<p>Print Optimizations: <em>Disabled<\/em><br \/>\nPrint All Text as Black: <em>Disabled<\/em><br \/>\nSend True Type as Bitmap: <em>Enabled<\/em><br \/>\nGraphics Mode: <em>Send Graphics as Raster<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3041\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2.jpg\" alt=\"Alt2\" width=\"413\" height=\"403\" srcset=\"https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2.jpg 413w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-300x293.jpg 300w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-150x146.jpg 150w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-48x48.jpg 48w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-250x244.jpg 250w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-184x180.jpg 184w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Alt2-307x300.jpg 307w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2.
