Adding a dependency will cause the Service Manager to depend on the Print Spooler to start up first before it begins processing.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>You will need to take a look at the service name running in Services. To open the Services list:<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> Open a run box by pressing the Windows logo\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-384 size-full alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Windows_logo.png\" alt=\"Windows_logo\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>\u00a0key+R.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2.<\/strong> Then, type services.msc and press return.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-385 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC-300x153.png\" alt=\"ServicesMSC\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC-300x153.png 300w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC-150x76.png 150w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC.png 412w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>From there, select the &#8220;eFORMz ServiceManager&#8221; or &#8220;eFORMz ServiceManager 64&#8221; service, right click and select Properties. Verify the Service name:<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-386 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC2-267x300.png\" alt=\"ServicesMSC2\" width=\"267\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC2-267x300.png 267w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC2-133x150.png 133w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC2-300x336.png 300w, https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ServicesMSC2.png 424w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Next, we&#8217;ll need to add the dependency from the command prompt.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> Open a run box by pressing the Windows logo\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-384 size-full alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Windows_logo.png\" alt=\"Windows_logo\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>\u00a0key+R.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Type cmd.exe\u00a0and press return.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3.<\/strong> At the command prompt enter the following:<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"snippetBox\">\n<pre>   c:\\ >sc config \"eFORMz ServiceManager\" depend= Spooler\r\n<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>In addition, add the following:<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"snippetBox\">\n<pre>   c:\\ >sc config \"eFORMz ServiceManager\" depend= Netman<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Make sure you have a space between <em>depend=<\/em> and <em>Spooler <\/em>as well as\u00a0<em>depend=<\/em> and <em>Netman<\/em>. Also, never leave the line to do a cut and paste of service names or allow word wrap of the window. Quotes are needed around the service name if there are spaces in the name. If there are no spaces, the quotes are optional.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<p>You should then see the following that indicates it was successful:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"snippetBox\">\n<pre>[SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>Check the Dependencies tab by right-clicking the service and selecting Properties.
