Command Error<\/h2>\n

A command error means that there is something wrong in the data sent to the printer. Typically, the data sent to the printer is outside of the printable area (left or right).<\/p>\n

Not Printing Duplex<\/h2>\n

If the shipping\u00a0label and the packing slip are being printed out over two labels instead of the back and front of one label, there could be two possible issues.<\/p>\n

Duplex enabled = yes<\/h3>\n

First, make sure the option\u00a0\u201cDuplex enabled = Yes\u201d\u00a0has been set. To do this, edit your configured SATO printer. Select the SATO device from the Devices field and select Edit.<\/p>\n

Next, in the Printer Options field, select Add.<\/p>\n

Select the Duplex Enabled option from the Name field, and set the value to Yes from the Value drop-down menu.<\/p>\n

Form Configuration<\/h3>\n

The other potential issue could be with the form\/label configuration.\u00a0In the Project view, make sure that you have a form identified as Front and another identified as Back.<\/p>\n

Likewise, in the Project Properties window\u2019s Printer Control tab, make sure you have either Short-Edge or Long-Edge Duplex defined.<\/p>\n

Print Quality<\/h2>\n

To\u00a0increase the darkness on the duplex labels,\u00a0edit your configured SATO printer. Select the SATO device from the Devices field and select Edit. Once complete,\u00a0in the Printer Options field, select Add.\u00a0Select the Print Darkness\u00a0option from the Name field, and set the value to Dark or Darkest\u00a0from the Value drop-down menu.<\/p>\n
