{"id":9349,"date":"2021-07-13T15:16:26","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T22:16:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/?p=9349"},"modified":"2021-07-13T15:26:03","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T22:26:03","slug":"adding-a-zpl-printer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/c002.minisoft.com\/support\/adding-a-zpl-printer\/","title":{"rendered":"Adding a ZPL printer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Director Toolkit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Windows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three ways to start the Director Toolkit while running Windows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>From your Windows desktop, select the Director Toolkit shortcut icon.<\/li><li>From eFORMz Composer, click <code>Host Tools &gt; Local Director Toolkit<\/code>.<\/li><li>From the Windows Start menu, select <code>All Programs &gt; eFORMz 10 &gt; Management &gt; Director &gt; Director Toolkit<\/code>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After Director has started, select a host type of <code>Local<\/code> and click OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unix<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From the Windows Start Menu select <code>eFORMz 10 &gt; Management &gt; Director &gt; Director Toolkit<\/code>. From the list of host options select <code>Unix<\/code>. The Unix login dialog box will then appear. Enter your host IP address or name along with username and password. Then select <code>Connect<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iSeries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From the Windows Start Menu select <code>eFORMz 10 &gt; Management &gt; Director &gt; Director Toolkit<\/code>. From the list of Host options select <code>iSeries<\/code>. The AS400 login dialog box will appear, enter your host IP address or name along with username and password. Then select <code>Connect<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding the Zebra printer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Director Toolkit starts, click <code>Printers<\/code> and configure your network printers to use. The Devices field lets you add multiple devices to this named configuration, which is sometimes used with pooling several printers under one configuration. The selected printer is listed in Devices from the Printer Configuration window. Click <code>OK<\/code>. The printer is shown in the list of printers in the Director Toolkit.
